Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur

I attended training recently at my company and the instructor asked who wanted to start their own company. To my surprise, 95% of the class raised their hand (Only like 1 girl didn't?). The mean age being approx 35, its a wonder why people in the class didn't make or take the initiative to start the business of their dreams.

I reckon, what stopped them was:

1. Fear of failure
2. Conservative
3. Bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush. Remaining status quo always seems attractive.

So what stopped you from starting the business of your dreams?

Well for me it is the lack of a better idea. I do not see a suitable business idea that I can be truly passionate about that I can do for the rest of my life.

A good idea is not necessary, great execution is.

What are your thoughts?
